About Us

Mentorship - Education - Advocacy

The Culturally Diverse Alliance of Tasmania, is committed to the promotion of social cohesion and the building of a strong social fabric that celebrates our unity and oneness while acknowledging and nurturing our diversity. We live in a country where there is immense cultural, linguistic, racial, ethnic and religious, diversity, and we see this diversity as the cornerstone of our community and an asset we will foster, cultivate, promote and accommodate. In working towards building a stronger more connected Tasmania, we believe that we ought to, first and foremost, uphold, protect and promote the rights, heritage and truth of the Indigenous Peoples of Australia, as the First Nations of these lands. We believe we are all equal, and we will strive to promote equality for all regardless of their background, and advocate for equitable community strategies that support an inclusive society. We should all be free to express ourselves, share our cultures and traditions, and celebrate our diversity.
